Christmas At Gmas

 

 

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

All of my tutorials are of my own creations any similarity with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.Please do not copy my tutorials please link back to my blog!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Close up of choice.

I am using artwork by Carlos Cartenga.

A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.

You can get his tubes here. This tube happens to be a Christmas gift for 2012.

Mask of Choice.

I used Vix_Mask 404 which you can get here.

Font of choice.

I used Clipper Script Fat.

Filters needed:

eye candy4-gradient glow-not required used for name

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Open a new image 700x700

C/P frame2, resize 55% place on the right side at the top, using your magic wand click inside of the frame. Selecions-modify-expand by 6. C/P paper7, resize 55%, selections-invert. Hit delete. C/P close up, hit delete. Select none. Arrange paper and tube under the frame layer in the layers 

palette.  

C/P elements of choice or use mine below. See my tag for exact placement.

lights resize 45% place at the top of the frame, arrange under your tube layer in the layers palette. Duplicate, rotate 90 degress and place on the left side of the frame. Erase any part of the lights that might be showing outside of the frame. Add any drop shadow. Merge visible

fireplace resize 75% place directly under your frame, arrange 

your frame under your fireplace layer in the layers palette

candy jar resize 25% place on the top of your fireplace 

 

candle3 resize 25% place to the right of the candy jar

candle1 resize 25% place in between the candy jar and candle3 you may need to sharpen it

  garland1 resize 55% place on the fireplace like it is hanging from it

  mistletoe resize 35% hang on the right side of the fireplace 

 

  nutcracker place on the left side

christmas tree place to the right of the nutcracker, place it so the top of the tree is even with the frame

gifts1 resize 45% place at the bottom on the left side of the tree, duplicate mirror, place beside the other gifts

cat resize 40% place in the middle of the gifts like it is sitting on them

mouse resize 35% place at the bottom in front of the gifts on the left

chair and ottoman resize 75% place on the right side to the right of the fireplace

throw resize 35% place on the ottoman

Crop merged opaque 

 

c/p paper6 apply mask, merge group, send to bottom

 

Merge visible. Re-size to desired size 

 

Add name or saying of choice. 

 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
