This Way To The North Pole

 

 

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.

I am using artwork  by Very Many. A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.  You can purchase this tube here. 

Scrapkit PTU Candy Christmas by Purples Kreationz.

Mask 414 by Vix. You can get it HERE

Font of choice. 

Filters needed: 

eye candy4-gradient glow-not required used for name

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Instructions for coping and pasting. 

Activate the layer. 

Selections-select all-float-defloat-selections-invert, active paper or tube layer and hit delete. 

When you see C/P in the tut that means Copy and Paste.

Add drop shadow as desired. See my tag for exact placement.

Open a new image, 700x700. We will resize later.

C/P Frame 1. Using your magic wand click inside of the frame. Selections-modify by 5. C/P Paper 14, selections-invert, hit delete

C/P elements of choice or use mine below. See my tag for exact placement.

element 27 place on the left side

element 4 place on the right side

c/p tube place to the right of the frame

element 45 resize 55% place at the top on the right side

element 1 place on the left side in front of the tree

element 16 resize 35% place on the left side

element 19 resize 55% place on the left side in front of the candy

element 33 resize 75% place on the left side

element 32 resize 55% place at the bottom to the right of the sign

element 14 resize 45% place at the bottom with the other candy

element 15 resize 45% place with the other candy

element 30 arrange under your candy layer in the layers palette

element 2 resize 55% place at the bottom arrange under the ribbon layer in the layers palette

element 7 resize 55% place beside the elf

element 6 resize 45% place to the right of the santa

element 35 resize 50% sharpen place at the bottom on the right side bring to top

element 18 resize 55% sharpen hang from one of the red circles on the house, on the right side

Merge visible. Crop merged opaque.

Resize 90%. C/P paper 7 apply mask, merge group, move to the left, send to bottom, duplicate merge down, duplicate, mirror

Merge visible. Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
