A Blue Christmas

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

All of my tutorials are of my own creations any similarity with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.Please do not copy my tutorials please link back to my blog!

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.

I am using artwork  by Barbara Jensen. A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.  You can purchase this tube here. 

Scrapkit PTU Christmas Chill by Manipulated by Magik.  

You can purchase this kit here.

Mask of choice

Font of choice. 

Filters needed: 

eye candy4-gradient glow-not required used for name

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Open a new image 700x700. We will resize later.

When you see C/P in the tut that means Copy and Paste.

Add drop shadow as desired. See my tag for exact placement.

C/P frame 2, using your magic wand click inside of the frame. Selections-modify by 5. C/P paper 11-hit delete. C/P close up of tube, duplicate. Close the duplicate. Click on original hit delete. Select none. Move paper and tube under the frame in the layers palette. Click on duplicate tube bring to top, delete the part you don't want showing outside of the tube.

deer, mirror place at the bottom on the left side

tree 2 place at the bottom on the right side

gift resize 45% place at the bottom on the right side, on the right side of the tree

gift 2 reszie 45% place at the bottom on the right side, on the left side of the tree

candy cane resize 10%, sharpen, place at the bottom on the right side on top of the gifts

word art place at the bottom in the center

lips resize 35% place on the left side of the word art

lights place at the bottom of the word art

sparkles place to your liking

Crop merged opaque.

C/P paper 2 apply mask of choice. Merge group, send to bottom.

Merge visible. Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
