Rockin Christmas

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

All of my tutorials are of my own creations any similarity with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.Please do not copy my tutorials please link back to my blog!

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.

I am using artwork  by Arthur Crowe.

 A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.

 You can get Arthur Crowes tubes at here.

This tube happens to be an exclusive to Taggers Tavern, you can earn the tube there.

Scrapkit of Choice:

Scrapkit PTU Rockin HoHoHo by Manipulated by Magik.

Font of choice. 

Filters needed: none required

eye candy4-gradient glow-not required used for name

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Open a new image 600x589

C/P frame 4 resize 85%. Using your magic wand click inside of the frame. Selections-modify-expand by 8, c/p paper 16, selections-invert, hit delete. Move paper under frame layer. Select none. 

C/P tube of choice, move towards the top of the image.

C/P negative resize 95% place at the bottom of frame 4. Arrange your tube layer under the negative layer in your layers palette.

Using your magic wand click inside the first square of the negative, selections-modify-expand by 2, c/p paper 12, selections-invert, hit delete. C/P your tube and place a part of it in the square, hit delete. Select none. Change the blend mode to luminance(L).

 Using your magic wand click inside the last square of the negative, selections-modify-expand by 2, c/p paper 10, selections-invert, hit delete. C/P your tube and place a part of it in the square, hit delete. Select none. Change the blend mode to luminance(L). 

Using your magic wand click inside the second square of the negative, selections-modify-expand by 2, c/p paper of choice, selections-invert, hit delete. C/P your tube and place a part of it in the square, hit delete. Select none. Do the same for the third square. 

C/P elements of choice or use mine below. See my tag for exact placement.

record resize 50% place on the left side towards the top, arrange under your tube layer in the layers palette

headphone resize 45% rotate left 20 degrees place over the record

microphone resize 45% place over the headphones and record

tree place on the right side, arrange under your tube layer in the layers palette, be sure it is also under the negative layer

gift2 resize 40% place at the bottom of the tree on the right side, arrange under the negative layer in the layers palette

winged santa resize 50% place at the top of the negative in between square one and two, be sure it is above the negative layer in the layers palette

  lips resize 20% place at the bottom of the negative in between square two and three

lights resize 90% place at the bottom of the negative 

glitter scatter place at the top, send to bottom, duplicate, flip 

Crop merged opaque.

Merge visible. Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
