Its Christmas Time

 

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

All of my tutorials are of my own creations any similarity with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.Please do not copy my tutorials please link back to my blog!

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.

I am using artwork  by Jose Cano.

 A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.

Scrapkit of Choice:

Scrapkit PTU Cano Xmas by Bibi's Collection.

Mask of choice:

I used WSL Mask84 which you can get here. 

Font of choice. 

Filters needed: none required

eye candy4-gradient glow-not required used for name

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

 

Open a new image 700x700

 

C/P element77  resize 25%. Using your magic wand click inside of the frame. Selections-modify-expand by 8, c/p paper 3, selections-invert, hit delete. Move paper under frame layer. C/P close up of tube, I mirrored mine, place on the left side of the frame to your liking, hit delete. Select none. Change the blend mode to lumincance(L)

C/P tube of choice, move to the right of the frame, covering the other half of it where your close up isn't. Duplicate, adjust-blur-guassian blur 3, change blend mode to soft light

 

C/P elements of choice or use mine below. See my tag for exact placement.

 

element 30 resize 45% rotate left 20 degrees place at the top on the left side

 

element 31 resize 65% place over element 30

 

element 20 resize 60% rotate right 20 degrees place over element 30 and 31

 

element 52 resize 55% place at the top on the right side of the frame

 

element 59 place at the bottom on the right side, arrange under your tube layer in the layers palette

 

element 93 mirror, place at the bottom on the right side

 

  element 34 resize 55% place at the bottom on the left side

element 28 resize 55% place at the bottom on the left side over the bottom of element 34

 

element 23 place at the bottom on the left side, to the right of element 28

 

element 27 resize 55% place at the bottom on the right side to the right of element 93(the candy cane)  

 

 element 44 place at the bottom

 

element 26 resize 30% place in between element28 and 23(the snowman and penguin) 

 

element 24 mirror place over the legs of your tube

 

glitter scatter place at the top, send to bottom, duplicate, flip 

Crop merged opaque.

Merge visible. Re-size 85%. Add a new raster layer, flood fill with green, apply mask. Merge group. Send to bottom.

 

Crop merged opaque, merge visible. Re-size to desired size.

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
