A Puppy's Christmas

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.

I am using artwork  by Alehandra Vanhek. A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.  This tube is an exclusive which you can get by buying an exclusive membership for the month. You can purchase this tube here.

Font of choice. 

Filters needed: 

eye candy4-gradient glow-not required used for name

LET'S GET STARTED

Open a new image 700x700. We will resize later.

When you see C/P in the tut that means Copy and Paste.

Add drop shadow as desired. See my tag for exact placement.

Using your rectangle tool with the settings below. Foreground red and bg none, draw out a good sized square. Center and convert to raster layer. Using your magic wand click inside of the frame we made, selections-modify expand by 5. C/P paper 8, selections-invert, hit delete. Select none. Move paper under the frame.

el24 resize 75% place at the top of the frame, duplicate, rotate 90 degrees, place on the left of the frame, duplicate, mirror. Arrange them so they cover most of the frame we made.

el12 place in the middle of the frame, move to the left a bit

el5 resize 45% place at the top on the right side

c/p your tube place to the right of the tree a bit

el41 resize 45% place at the bottom on the right side

el8 resize 15% place to the left of the S in the word art

el6 resize 15% mirror place on top of the M in the word art

el36 move to the right a bit send to bottom, place it so it is showing on the right side of the frame

el38 place on top of el36, mirror

Crop merged opaque.

Merge visible. Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
