Winter Cold

    This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.

I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice.

I am using artwork  by Andy Cooper. A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use.  You can purchase this tube here. 

Scrapkit PTU Winter Cold by Bibis Collection

You can get this kit here.

Font of choice. 

Filters needed: 

eye candy4-gradient glow

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

When you see C/P in the tut that means Copy and Paste.

Add drop shadow as desired. See my tag for exact placement.

I made my tag as a blog header in the size of 1200x450. You can do the same and not do the avatar or you can make a forum set with the size of  600x250

C/P  paper2, crop merged opaque.

C/P elements of choice or use mine below. Resize to your liking to fit the tag.

place your tube in front of the building to the left

click on top layer add a new raster layer flood fill with color of choice or mine #5ed7d2, selections, select all, selections, modify, contract by 10, hit delete, keep selected, add a new raster layer flood fill with color of choice or mine #87583d, selections, modify, contract by 6, hit delete, keep selected, add a new raster layer, flood fill with color of choice of mine
#5ed7d2, selections, modify, contract by 3, hit delete, select none. I added noise to the 2 blue frames and a drop shadow to last frame

 

Crop merged opaque

Merge visible. Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png

FOR AVATAR:

Duplicate tag and crop to 150x150, move the box to a part of the tag that you want the avatar to be. add a new raster layer flood fill with color of choice or mine #5ed7d2, selections, select all, selections, modify, contract by 5, hit delete, keep selected, add a new raster layer flood fill with color of choice or mine #87583d, selections, modify, contract by 2, hit delete, keep selected, add a new raster layer, flood fill with color of choice of mine

Merge visible. And save!
