Love of Basketball

 
 
This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of psp.


I use paint shop 9, but any version should work.


All of my tutorials are of my own creations any similarity with any other tutorial is purely coincidental.Please do not copy my tutorials please link back to my blog!

SUPPLIES NEEDED


Tube of choice.
I am using artwork  by Jose Cano.
 A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use. 
Which you can get Jose Cano's tubes at SATC
Which you can get here.



Scrapkit of Choice:
Scrapkit PTU Sara by SkyScraps Designs
Which you can find at SATC and her own store here
You can purchase this kit here.
 

Template of Choice:
Template137 by Toxic Desirez which you can get here

Font of choice.
I used Al Sandra
 
Filters needed:
eye candy4-gradient glow



Don't forget to save often.





LET'S GET STARTED


 


Open template, shift D to duplicate, close original. Delete credits, words, stars, pixel words, and background.  Image-Canvas size 700x700


Instructions for coping and pasting. 
Activate the layer. 
Selections-select all-float-defloat-selections-invert, active paper or tube layer and hit delete. 


When you see C/P in the tut that means Copy and Paste.
Add drop shadow as desired. See my tag for exact placement.
Copy and paste desired papers into each layer.  Then delete the original layers.
 

I used paper3 for oval, large glitter circle and small glitter circle-
add noise, gaussian 75-monochrome checked, to the glitter layers

paper4 for teal circle, glitter oval-
add noise, gaussian 75-monochrome checked, to the glitter layers

paper1 for pink circle

paper2 for left retangle
 
add noise, gaussian 75-monochrome checked to glittered rectangle
 

C/P elements of choice or use mine below. See my tag for exact placement.
 
C/P your tube place on the left side

e8 resize 25% place on the left side at the top, arrange under your tube layer in the layers palette
 
  e7resize 25% place with the other flower

e42 resize 25% place on the left side, behind the tube's leg

e43 resize 30% place to the left of the other cupcake

e2 resize 45% place at the top on the right side

e5 resize 40%, rotate right 15 degrees, place on the right side at the top with the basketball hoop

e4 resize 35% place at the top on the right side of the scoreboard

  e1 resize 35% place at the top on the left side of the scoreboard

still working under your tube layer

e3 resize 45% place at the bottom on the right side

e48 resize 35% place at the bottom a little to the left of the trophy

click on top layer

e19 resize 35% place at the bottom on the right side, in front of the trophy and to the right a little

e17 mirror, resize 35% place at the bottom on the right side, to the left of the gumball machine, in front of the drink
 
e37 resize 60% place on the right side in the center

e24 resize 75% send to bottom add a drop shadow

c/p paper3 apply mask, merge group, move to the top left a bit, duplicate, mirror. send both layers to the bottom


Crop merged opaque. 
Merge visible. Re-size to desired size.


Add name or saying of choice.


Add proper copyright info and save as .png

Scrapkit of choice or the one I used. I used FTU Gaming Attitude by Bityz Beez Designz which you can get here


Font of choice.
Filters needed:  none


Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Open a new image 700x700.

C/P baseball diamond3 resize55% place in the middle 


C/P tube place in the middle 

 C/P elements of choice or use mine below. See my tag for exact placement

baseball3 resize55% place at the top on the left side

baseball bat1 resize75% rotate right 35% place at the top on the left side to the right of the baseball

banner1 reszie55% place at the top to the left of the baseball

scoreboard2 resize55% place at the bottom in the middle so that each of your tubes legs in on each of the boards legs

number1 3 resize35% place at the top on the right side, using your manual color correction tool change the color of the hand to match your tube

trophy1 resize95% place at the bottom on the left side, using your manual color correction tool change the color of the hand to match your tube

Crop merged opaque.

Merge visible.
Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png

Batter Up

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of choice
I am using artwork  by Alexander McMillan. A PTU Artist. You must purchase and obtain a license to use. Which you can get at SATC here  

Scrapkit of choice or the one I used. I used FTU Batter Up by QueenBrat Designs which you can get here scroll down a little bit to find it


Mask of choice of the one I used. I used mask340 by WSL which you can get here

Filters needed:  none

Don't forget to save often.

LET'S GET STARTED

Open a new image 700x700.

C/P  frame01 resize75%, place in middle of image, using your manual color correction tool, click on the black part of the frame to change it to match a color from your tube.   Using your magic wand click inside of the circle. Selections-modify-expand by 6. C/P paper01-selections-invert, hit delete, change the color of the paper the same way as the frame. Move the paper under the frame layer. C/P close up of tube, duplicate and close the duplicated tube, click on original tube and hit delete. Select none. Move paper and original tube under frame. Open the duplicate tube and erase the part you dont want showing outside of the frame.  Add drop shadow to frame. I used 2/2-75-3 add it again but this time make it -2

bow01 resize75% place at the bottom in the middle, change the color to match your tube

bear01 place at the bottom on the right side

bat01 reszie55% place at the bottom on the left side rotate right 35 degrees

baseball01 place at the bottom to the left of the bat

Crop merged opaque.

Merge visible.

C/P paper2 and apply the mask I used or mask of choice

Re-size to desired size. 

Add name or saying of choice. 

Add proper copyright info and save as .png
